Something behind you suddenly feels different?

Don't immediately start twisting around while walking.

If possible, remove or rotate the bag so you can inspect the issue directly instead of blindly feeling around behind you.

3. Check Before Long Transitions

Before leaving class, a café, the library, or another location:

Tiny checks can prevent corrections while moving.

4. Resume Only When You're Finished

Don't begin walking again halfway through the adjustment.

Finish the task.

Look up.

Then move.
